Press Kit Guide
for Indie Games.

Your press kit is for the people who decide whether to share your game: reviewers, YouTubers, curators, festival organisers, platform reps. They've got 60 seconds and 50 other emails, so the kit is what makes those 60 seconds easy.

We're putting this together because the indie devs we love working with often don't have one ready when we ask. If your game has been out for two years and you still don't have a press kit, that's normal. Just start.

Pair this with the Steam Marketing Guide for the storefront side.

Indieformer, the publisher.

Indieformer is a small, creator-led publisher run by Josh and Clem out of Melbourne, backed by a wider network. We work from the first idea through to release, close to the design and the marketing, and we stay through the messy parts.

You make a great game, and we help it find players. There's more on how we do that in How We Make a Game Popular.
