Klaus Veen’s Treason

🕵️ Who Killed the Don?

If you love Trouble in Terrorist Town and can quote The Godfather or Goodfellas by heart, Treason is about to be your next obsession. A 3-16 player party shooter of teamwork and betrayal, this game throws you into a mobster crime scene where deception is your greatest weapon.

Traitors lurk among you, secretly plotting to take out the rest. Innocents must work together, gather clues, and expose the killers—before they get whacked themselves. With proximity voice chat, unique class abilities, and the Clue Processing System, every round is a battle of wits where trust is in short supply.

What makes Treason special isn’t just the mind games—it’s the tight-knit community and dedicated dev team that keep the updates flowing and even jump into matches themselves. Whether you're setting up a private lobby with friends or diving in with strangers, every round is unpredictable, intense, and incredibly fun.

And the best part? It’s totally free. But Treason almost didn’t make it—find out why in the full story below.

THE TREASON THAT ALMOST WASN’T

A Free Game, But at What Cost?

When Treason launched in 2023, it was supposed to be a fun, accessible alternative to monetized Trouble in Terrorist Town (TTT) servers. But without proper safeguards in place, chaos took over.

Toxicity flooded the game. Players abused the broken vote-kick system. Harassment ran rampant. And for Klaus, Treason’s creator, it didn’t stop at the game. After banning a handful of bad actors, he found himself the target of real-world harassment—his old home address leaked, the new homeowners receiving threatening calls, police getting involved.

“I don’t want the game to blow up until it’s ready,” Klaus says. “Now, two years and ten updates later, I think we’re finally getting there.”

Happy gaming!
